National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) used to charge Rs. 70/- for the On-Line transfer of Rs. 10,000/- to another NBP bank but w.e.f. July 1st has started charging Rs. 380/- for the same. I think Imran Khan & Co. are being just naïve in demanding the resignation of the PM on the grounds that he as a sitting PM and the Chief Executive of the country could influence the JIT’s functioning in his own favour. Agreed – but to some extent only. But, what would happen if MNS resigns? Someone from the majority party, that is MLN be asked to form the govt. It was indeed a welcome gesture on the part of the PM to participate in the Holi festival in Karachi which must have further strengthened the confidence of the Hindu minority as being equal citizens of Pakistan. I don’t know about others but if anything at least I am happy by the “extreme vetting” proscribed for the Pakistanis entering USA. It is mostly the younger and promising lot who heads for the States either in pursuit of higher education or better employment.
