Drones Collateral Damage
Bob Woodward in his book “Obama’s wars” , as reported in the daily The News October 12th, 2010, says on page 26 that President Zardari wanted to clear the air about the controversy over civilian deaths from drones and told ex-CIA Director Mike Hayden that “Collateral damage worries you Americans. It does not worry me. ”Reporting this startling statement, Woodward said: “Zardari had just given the CIA an important green light...”
I only wish it were not true. Would the spokesman for the President please clarify the statement attributed to Mr. Zardari?
