Please limit yourself and do not trespass

Very often it is noticed in Pakistan that an unconcerned person talks about something which is not officially related to him but still he comes forward with his suggestions and remarks which tantamount to trespass which as such must be condemned and not appreciated.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik is one of those Pakistani ministers who falls under this category and very much surprisingly he is never ever even been checked if not snubbed, rather on the contra, he is very much patted when he jumps into different spheres which are much regretted. There are so many instances when he poked his nose in all subjects whether the subject related to election, information, electricity, trade or for that matter agriculture or foreign relations etc which had no relationship whatsoever with law & order. The latest intrusion which is very glaring example of trespassing is that when he jumped in at the time when Malala Yousufzai was attacked by Taleban in Swat. I really failed to understand as to why and how Rehman Malik came into action so far as Malala treatment is concerned and at each and every step he was seen on television screens talking to the press and issuing various statements which were more about Malala than Taleban or the killer. I am very much astonished to note that the health minister was neither seen on television screens nor he issued statements like Rehman Malik. He if he thinks of himself to be the most dutiful person then as a matter of fact he being none but interior minister should have gone after the killer in Swat and or other areas which is his official obligation in any case but instead he ignored it and took initiative in connection with her medical treatment which does not fall under his jurisdiction. Secondly if he ignored the killer then who will be concerned to arrest the killer, is a very simple question which demands an answer from him?

Malala when gunned down was provided basic medical aid at the point of the incident and then she had to be airlifted from the place of incident to Sawat hospital for immediate and necessary 1st aid treatment so that her condition does not go bad to worse but it was call of the time that she must be flown at least to Peshawar CMH which was the nearest possible hospital from Swat. Team of our consultant doctors attended Malala and they did whatever was humanly possible at that point of time. She in consultation with foreign doctors was being treated by the best experts but since she had been fired upon her skull, she still needed much better treatment facilities than what were available in Peshawar and we heard Malik Rehman saying that ever since her situation was very grave, it was suggested by CMH Peshawar that she must now be transferred to CMH Lahore at least if not overseas. Lahore CMH is supposed to be the best hospital of our army where cream of our doctors treated her. However, it was very judiciously felt that Malala needed more sophisticated equipments and facilities which unfortunately were not available in Pakistan and it necessitated that she must be sent for further treatment to countries like UAE, UK or USA. Quite naturally it was health minister who should have been assigned the task and deputed by the government to run around and finalize hospital treatment arrangements about Malala Yousufzai whether it was UAE, UK, USA or any other country but regretfully the health minister was ignored and instead it was none but Interior Minister who flew to UAE in connection with Malala treatment.

Malik Rehman did not limit himself to UAE but had the cheeks to fly to UK as well in connection with the treatment of Malala. He visited Malala at Buckingham Hospital which was duly telecasted and the whole world watched him seeing Malala along with Foreign Ministers of UAE and UK which very clearly proves that Rehman Malik has completely over shadowed Health Minister which at least I did not like. Why did he do like this is my very simple question? How Health Minister has been ignored in this case is my second     question? Didn’t Interior Minister insult Health Minister is my yet another question? Does morality allow interior minister to do alike is my last question? None should cross the well defined boundaries which clearly spell out as to what duty belongs to whom and therefore in the given situation interior minister should not have assumed the role of health minister is my suggestion and not question. I very sincerely wish and pray that from now onward all ministers and other high ranking officials who have say in our power corridor must not cross their well defined responsibilities and limits so that such like awkward situations do not arise in the very first instance which as such will create better, cordial and harmonious atmosphere and eliminate the chances of bitterness and animosity.

Anyone who is not supporting me on the above but opposing me instead must raise his/her hand.
