Subject: Bogus Senate Elections in Sind
Dear Chief Election Commissioner: Assalamo Alaikum
Everyone knows that there were no free and fair elections in Karachi; hence the question of holding fair and free elections for Senate does not arise. The members of provincial assemblies (as well national assemblies) are illegal and do not represent people of Karachi and therefore can not elect Senators. If there were true representatives they would have chosen true representatives. Karachi was held hostage at gun point (Ref: U tube videos). The people of Karachi themselves were the eyewitness to this massive terrorist rigging). The forces which carried out 12th May Karachi carnage were responsible for hijacking the entire election procedure in Karachi. It is indeed very shameful that the Election Commission of Pakistan does not recognize this fact despite pointed out by several national and foreign observers and falsely make tall claims of holding free and fair elections. The Karachi Elections were no less sham than those held in occupied Kashmir. I am writing this letter to you to request you to cancel the Senate Elections from Sind as it is the duty of every citizen to defend law and constitution. We must first hold fair and free elections in Karachi and then hold Senate Elections from Sind.
Furthermore Mr. Rehman Malik has the reputation of being Qadyani. If that is true then he can not contest the elections on Muslim seat. Moreover a convict criminal and a person of bad reputation can not contest election according to the constitution. No NRO can reverse those clauses of constitution. As a matter of fact NRO is a proof that person is not clean otherwise he would not be requiring NRO.
Truly;
Prof. (Dr.) Anwar Ul Haque
