Loud message for Barrister Aitzaz (my law teacher)

This is really obnoxious tinged with utter shame that though so many different groups representing various sections of the society had participated in the long march for restoration of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Ahmad Chauhdry, it is very much vivid that the present government recognizes none but NS as the opposition leader.

Isn't is mind boggling to note that Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, former President Supreme Court Bar Association, Islamabad along with his notable lawyers from each and every province initiated a nation wide agitation to restore Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Ahmad Chaudhry and for months none but lawyers have agitated, took out processions and boycotted courts etc and they valiantly faced the brunt. They lost their income because when they boycotted the courts, the clients engage them to attend courts and not boycott but the lawyers community happily agreed to lessen their income. The lawyers were baton charged, humiliated and even arrested but yet the lawyers did not bulge even an inch and spearheaded the movement to restore CJP. Later on Imran Khan, Chairman Tehrik e Insaf, Qazi Hussain Ahmad, Amir Jamat e Islami, Nawaz Sharif, Chief, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and other members of the civil society, to name a few, also joined the lawyers movement.

 In the first instance, let me very bluntly pen that the nation wide political awakening could not have been aroused so successfully had lawyers not initiated and fully supported by different political parties including NS but it is very much shocking that the long march has been called off by Nawaz Sharif alone.  Don’t we realize that it was not only NS who was in the long march but greater majority of lawyers, various political parties and other members of the society were very much there in the mass long march so the decision to call off the walk could not have been taken by NS alone. Now once the long march has ended and Chief Justice of Pakistan is restored back to his position, power corridors do not recognize any other force in the opposition except NS which is much too much regretted. Establishment always resorts to the tactics of divide and rule meaning by here too, Islamabad has blatantly ignored Aitzaz, Qazi and Imran etc and instead it was Nawaz Sharif only whom Prime Minister Syed Makhdoom Yousuf Gillani visited at his residence in Raiwind, Lahore. How and why NS did not invite his agitating partners (Aitzaz, Qazi, Imran) to join him when PM was visiting him?

Now NS has announced to tour whole of Pakistan for very obvious reasons which I need not spell out except to say that unless and until the opposition parties do not take notice of it, their fate will be doomed and none but NS will sweep in the next election Now each day I read nothing but statements from NS on different subjects and pretexts and it is quite likely that his younger brother Shehbaz Shrif be eventually restored as Chief Minister Punjab. Who gained the most is the burning question?

Wake up my teacher, at least if not others, and don’t let some one else to flourish which he doesn't deserve but if you too do not take cognizance of the situation then neither the history will forgive you will be heard either.
