Indian central govt calls Aam Admi an anarchist!

Common men who struggle seriously generally go anarchists when they fail to get justice from the regime and when they are not sure about regime’s usefulness for the people.

This is exactly happening in Delhi where the first ever  activist chief minister of Delhi state Arvind Kejriwal has failed get an assurance from the  central government ruled by Congress party on serious issues like brining Delhi police under Delhi state administration and to punish the police officials who misbehaved.

Congress party has lost power to Aam Aadmi party in the recently held poll and is now supporting the minority AAP government from outside.

Against all speculations, the Aam Admi party leaders have refused to lived like kings, giving orders to subordinates- Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal even refused the CM bungalow, special security cover and other special privileges - but they continue to be common leaders of common people and are in the activist mode to make Delhi safe.  

After all, the CM of an elected government is making genuine demands to make Delhi administration smooth and workable.

Rejection of demands of Delhi government by Indian government has  made it agitate against the centre. It was at around 11.am on 20^th January that the Delhi activist - Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was stopped at a police barricade outside Rail Bhawan as he was trying to proceed further towards North Block for the planned protest outside Shinde’s office near Parliament House in the Capital’s power district, for dharna for the suspension of three Delhi Police officials for disobeying Law Minister Somnath Bharti’s order to arrest some Ugandan and Nigerian nationals last week..

Delhi saw the chief administrator of Delhi turning into leading agitator. Chaos ruled the heart of the city as the head of Delhi government broke the law, brazenly defying Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code that has been imposed in New Delhi district and leading his ministers and a small but growing crowd of AAP activists into the zone that is to be sanitized for the coming Republic Day Parade.

The city came to a jarring halt with thousands of aam aadmis getting stuck in endless jams in central Delhi due to the protest. Four Metro stations were shut down by central government, and the roads radiating out from New Delhi district clogged up because of the disturbance.

Kejriwal’s undignified hop from the seat of governance to the eye of lawlessness appeared to have been sparked by a comment made earlier in the day by Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, who said, " I am in touch with Delhi Police. The argument of Delhi Police being under the Delhi government has been on since long, but that's not possible. The whole country is watching whose anarchy is this."  

Kejriwal said: “Some people are saying that I am an anarchist. I am spreading disorder. I agree I am an anarchist. Today, I will create anarchy for Shinde”. Not allowed to proceed to North Block, they occupied a garden near Rail Bhawan, claiming they wouldn’t budge till their demands are met.

A scuffle broke out between the police and AAP supporters in the afternoon when policemen disconnected Kejriwal's audio system. Some AAP supporters were pushed back as they tried to break through the police barricades. The Rapid Action Force was called in, and by evening some 4,000 security personnel, including from the Indo- Tibetan Border Police, were deployed around the protest venue.

Kejriwal put the blame squarely on the Prime Minister, Home Minister and the Centre for the situation that has led to his dharna, saying he has come “prepared for 10 days” and would continue the agitation further if need be. “Any crisis arising out of the situation will be the responsibility of the Centre,” he said. We met the Delhi Police chief and Shinde; we demanded suspension of the Station House Officer where rape took place. We said that if there is sex or drug racket in operation, it can't take place without police complicity. We asked for suspension of officials where a woman was burnt by her in- laws. But nothing was done,” said Kejriwal.

Delhi Police takes money from autorickshaw drivers. It has taken money to not take action on lawlessness. Making a house in Delhi has become impossible without bribing the police.

Even while  in agitation mode, Kejriwal also cleared all official files from his sit- in site. AAP later made it clear that Kejriwal and others will spend the night outside Rail Bhawan.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Shinde met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, prompting speculation that the Centre was considering a quick solution to the mess. Union Minister Jairam Ramesh lent his weight, saying the Congress should reconsider its support to AAP if the anarchy continues.

Aam Aadmi is not quite impressed by the Congress threat to withdraw support of the party in Delhi Assembly.

Delhiites are going to be behind the Delhi government on these issues.  Precipitating the cries is not in favor the central government and Congress party which is losing support at national level.
