Artificial alliances in Kashmir: PDP betrays Kashmiris!

Kashmiri Muslims who had earler 2008 voted for Congress and NC are now disillusioned with performance of the ruling combines as the government had become totally corrupt and insensitive to  people’s aspirations.  

Kashmiris in Kashmir valley are predominantly Muslims have long been longing for peace and freedom, including of speech, on the one hand and, on the other, selfless and clean governance by the rulers.

Congress and BJP are  Indian core parties while PDP and NC are Kashmiri parties that know  Kashmiri  the best. When NC extended unconditional support to PDP to form a government to serve the Kashmiri people,  it was felt  the Kashmiri politicians are  trying to be logical since NC and PDP are the natural ally.  Any alliance of PDP or NC with Congress or BJP is illogical and artificial and played out for some mischievous reasons, maybe even against the genuine interests of Kashmiris. .

Both Congress and BJP want to saffronize Kashmir and promote Hindutva interests.  They are eager to settle down more and more Hindus in Kashmir valley.. Both want to own Kashmiri lands and build more temple structures, officially and promote Amarnath program on large scale.

Perhaps, when deciding to vote for PDP, Kashmiris living in the Kashmir valley thought the PDP would serve them better, protect them and their interests.

But in the post poll scenario of a hung assembly in JK, the BJP, Congress, NC and PDP are playing joint game with the people, especially with Kashmiri Muslims for their decision to abandon the Hindutva party BJP. BJP wants to make Muslims feel sad that they decided to choose the PDP instead of NC and Congress party. .

In a way, the Indian and Kashmiri politicians have  making fun of democratic  politics Kashmiri Muslims  prefer to live  with whatever dignity that is allowed  by Indian rulers and military bosses.

 Kashmiri parties like NC and PDP are trying to help the Hindu parties to take root in Kashmir valley. The PDP’s crawling towards BJP reveals the secret agreement between PDP and NC to provide  a good majority to work for Indian and Hindutva interests. And get service charges from New Delhi

Whether or not PDP makes a government with BJP, one thing is clear PDP has betrayed Kashmiris now more than the NC.
