Greetings for both Zardari and Nawaz

Imran Khan, Chairman, Tehreek e Insaf party had been saying for months at the top of his voice that PPP and PML (N) are not against each other rather on the contra they are the two sides of the same coin and perhaps he is right in saying so. Today Thursday 26th July, 2012 main news of Pakistan Observer under the caption, ‘Incumbent govt may continue till Aug 2013’ very well supports his views as it is reported that the two are grouping up in a manner that they will share the powers between them. President Asif Ali Zardari wishes to continue for another 5 years term whereas Mian Nawaz Sharif will be slotted as Prime Minister for 3rd time.

Appointment of Justice Retd Fakhruddin Ibrahim as Chief Election Commissioner is an indication that the two are quite hand and glove in power sharing because PML (N) and PPP jointly agreed without any opposition to Fakhruddin appointment  meaning by that back-door politics has played its role and come what may PPP and PML (N) will rule us whether we like it or not. Incidentally CJP Iftikhar will retire in 2013 so hurdles if any will automatically be removed because he is the one who uphold the rule of law and supremacy of constitution.

World leaders must learn power jugglery from Pakistan in general and Zardari in particular where personal interests get edge over national interests and none dares to chop of the hands of those who loot our national exchequer.
