Doctors Will Insha Allah Fully Support Restoration of Independent Judiciary and will Hold Weekly Demonstrations.

The Doctors being among the most learned and most humane elements of the society will Insha Allah fully support the Lawyers and CIVIL society's struggle for saving Pakistan through establishment of a just and civilized society in Pakistan. Without independent judiciary one can not even think of civilization and progress. It is therefore not surprising that all internal and external hostile elements to Pakistan are against restoration of free and just judiciary and are in favor of a fake and sham judiciary just like fake and sham President. A large number of doctors of all specialties including young medical officers to senior specialists will carry out weekly impressive and peaceful demonstration outside the premises of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) at 2: 00 pm for half an hour. They will wear black arm bands and carry placards with slogan in favor of restoration of Judges and free media. The placards will carry the following messages:  

1.      No Justice, No Pakistan

2.      Free Abdul Qadeer Khan

3.      We demand Freedom of Media

4.      Judges are hostage of State Terrorism

5.      For Justice

6.      "Adalia Lahoo Lahoo (Justice is bleeding)

The doctors' struggle will Insha Allah continue till the restoration of the judiciary to the level of November 2! The Doctors do not accept PCO judges. All those who supported Musharraf's illegitimate and illegal moves have participated in high treason. Arresting Judges and taking hostage of the judiciary is the Biggest Contempt of the Court in the History of Mankind. They regard Musharraf an illegal and illegitimate President as he has no fresh mandate of the people. In fact all five assemblies have passed thunderous verbal Vote of No Confidence in him as seen on many TV channels. The Doctors have decided that they will spread this protest throughout country at medical colleges and other hospitals. This is not politics. If there is no justice, simple there will be no country. No issue is more serious and critical than having independent judiciary which would be a check on all sorts of corruption and frauds. The Doctors decided to hold weekly instead of daily demonstrations till restoration of all judges including Ch. Iftikhar Ahmad as Chief Justice of Pakistan.  Every Wednesday Insha Allah a peaceful demonstration will be held at 2:00- 2:30 p.m. A large number of doctors and people belonging to medical profession will participate.

The Doctors will Insha Allah begin a signatory movement throughout the country. Signatures will be collected for restoration of all Judges and establishing the November 2 status of the judiciary. The petition will be also placed on Website so that people all over the world can sign the petition on internet. The Doctors also call for establishing the proper criteria for appointment of Judges based on solid Islamic, legal and humanitarian requirements. The Judge themselves must possess very high and unblemished character. In USA for example the judges are confirmed only after their long drilling in senate and congress. Not only their character but also their past decisions are meticulously and microscopically examined.
