Dr. Danish,
Your programmes (Sawal Yeh Hai) are mostly sickening. Particularly most sickening was today’s programme in which Mr. Munir A Malik and Dr. Farough Nasim appeared to face your most noisome questions on Supreme Court’s action and judgment regarding the news of withdrawal of executive order regarding restoration of Judiciary.
Mr. Danish, it seems you are a medical doctor, and I don’t know how knowledgeable and how much experienced you are in your own trade. But it is for sure that, you are less knowledgeable and less-read person in the field you are now doing ‘business’. You are in a field in which it is of utmost importance to have wide, rather unlimited knowledge, in every field of statehood, particularly economics, politics, history and even culture. You need to read more and more; you need to read all the time; you need to read all the latest comments and commentaries; you need to read all the latest publications by political and news worthy personalities, and particularly the news commentators appearing in the book market of advanced world.
If you think, your common sense and your vociferous vocal power is enough to make comments, and put questions on current issues, then you are utterly wrong. I am failing to understand, how your organization (ARY News) is still giving you valuable airtime.
Dr. Danish, in these days in Pakistan the hottest topic is the Constitution of Pakistan, its various articles, and Judiciary’s role in a very fluid time in Pakistan . In such a situation, Doctor Sahib, my suggestion is: please read the important Constitutions of the world ( Britain , USA , Canada , China , India etc) and political - particularly democratic history - of various countries. You must educate yourself on the academic knowledge of Political Science. After that, if you make programmes on constitutional, political and current affairs, those will not be as irritating as these are now today.
One last point is, there are certain norms for criticizing the Judiciary. Please learn those norms first. In today’s programme, you crossed that limit many times. I am astonished, why the Courts do not take cognizance of your tirade against the judges and judiciary, and why the Courts do not teach you a meaningful lesson of how, and to what extent, courts’ verdicts could be critically appraised.
At the end, I will stress again: please make yourself educated to make and present programmes on current/political issues. Otherwise you may go to your own trade.
Thanking you,
Syed Sayef Hussain
