The Supreme Court yesterday in its short order disallowed me to seek the permission to contest Presidential Elections. It in addition also used the word "another"  after my name (Dr. Anwar Ul Haque). As no other candidate filed the petition except me and in my petition only the other name was that of Gen. Musharraf. It most likely means Gen. Musharraf. In other words both me and Musharraf are disallowed to seek the permission to contest election. Nomination papers is seeking the permission to contest election. If permission is granted, the person becomes candidate otherwise not. It is humbly suggested that the Media must not play yellow journalism and show biases and misinterpretation of the verdict as was done by many print and electronic media e.g. Dawn  This will result in their dis credibility as most people do not trust the media any more and regards it as if not more corrupt and terrorist than many other institutions of the country. Dawn even did not print the whole short order as it knows very well that I being Government Servant had not been allowed to contest Elections and this is equally applicable to Gen. Musharraf. On the other hand it wrongly interpreted and tried to deceive its esteemed readers ( And I am one of them) saying that the court has allowed Gen. Musharraf to run for the president. Court has NOT said that at all. Dawn must shun its jaundice and try not to be puppets of the foreign masters.
