President Barack Obamas' Letter to Dr.Maqsood Jafri

Washington D.C (pr):  The president of the USA, Mr. Barack Obama in a letter addressed to eminent thinker Dr.Maqsood Jafri expressed his deep gratitude for sending him his book titled "The Ideals of Bhutto". The president in his letter wrote:" I would like to extend my deepest thanks for your kind gift. Your generosity is much appreciated. I am humbled by the thoughtfulness of the American people and honored to serve as president. If we join together in common purpose,I am confident that we will solve the great challenges of our time. Thank you again, and I wish you all the best."

Dr.Maqsood Jafri had sent his recently published book titled "The Ideals of Bhutto" to the president of America with a letter inviting his attention to the problem of Kashmir. Dr. Maqsood Jafri reminded the august president to fulfil his promise of appointing an emissary on the issue of Kashmir. In the presidential elections, the president Barack Obama had publicly promised to appoint an emissary to help resolving the issue of Kashmir. Dr.Maqsood Jafri in his explicit letter had pointed out the imminent nuclear strike in the South Asia, as both the countries India and Pakistan are nuclear powers. In his letter to the president, he stressed on the need of implementation of the UNO resolutions for an amicable resolution of the issue. Dr.Maqsood Jafri has expressed hope that the esteemed president will intervene and stop India from aggression on the defenseless and docile Kashmiris by holding free and fair plebiscite in Kashmir.
