MLN Elections

True to the tradition Mian Shahbaz Sharif was elected unopposed as the Provincial Chief in the General Council meeting of the MLN.  How democratic of the MLN to hold elections within the party and the nation is grateful to the council for re-electing Shahbz Sharif.?  While Mian Nawaz Sharif has already been elected as the party president, it is hoped that the other near members of the Sharif family – Abbas Sharif (once MNA), Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Mariam Nawaz Sharif, Capt Safdar (Retd) and not so near members like Ishaq Dar, Abid Sher Ali and Sohail Butt will also be elected unopposed so that the Punjab in particular and Pakistan in general would not be deprived of the great leadership family and the immense services rendered to the masses by them.  May the Sharif family ever rule Pakistan.  God bless democracy- government of, by and for the Sharifs.
