APL termed any Govt decision without ‘salala apology’ callous
Association of Pakistani Lawyers (UK) a team of British Pakistani Solicitors, Barristers and judges has taken a serious note of Pakistani Govt’s possible action to open NATO supplies around Chicago moot a ‘callous’ one without an apology for ‘Salala martyrs’.
APL chair Barrister Amjad Malik in a hurried statement has said that, “it will be an injustice with those who died in the line of duty if the Govt accepts peanuts and sells the blood of its soldiers without an apology and remorse for untimely shoot out at salala check post. The Govt first took the nation on the very high moral grounds when it stopped all supplies until apology and let the Parliament review such international cooperation agreements which it did, and any unilateral decision will be disastrous without addressing the core issue.”
Malik said, “Weaker Governments keep the people under thumb by keeping them under resourced with an intention to make these kind of volatile decisions. First they took adrenaline high on Raymond Davis issue and then let him go cheaply. Promoted Drone protests and then allow discreetly without interception despite Parliamentary resolution denying it’s vitality, and later widespread Protests against supplies including that of Defence Council & cricketer turned politician’s and then unilaterally surrendering to open supplies without getting their stated stance accepted, ‘a mere apology’.” “I think USA knows them very well as was quoted by one of their Attorney General that the ruling elite are plunged in scandals and mega corruption that US just ask the price and unlike turkey 'our rulers kneel on the ground’ meagrely without fighting the state cause on just grounds. Nation rebuilds on self respect, and international cooperation chartered by UNO must continue with the community of nations but on the principle of equality, fairness and justice. This cheap barter may be counterproductive for the state, and will cost the nation dearly, one day, warned Mr. Malik.
