Blessings of Ramadan
We are reminded repeatedly that Ramadan is the month of the blessings and Muslims all over the world stand to gain a great deal in this month.
Some of the blessings are :
- Shaitan(s) are chained in this month. Where ? On the contrary all kinds of Shaitan are let loose. Hoarding, profiteering, black marketing etc. increase in this month sending the prices of the commodities and daily use items sky high.
- Income of the Muslims increases in this month. (Musalmano ka rizq kushada ho jata hai.) I don’t see it happen either, except for that of the hoarders and the profiteered ones. Most Muslims don’t work full hours with the result all round productivity decreases in this month. Many an exporter cannot meet the delivery schedule which affects our export performance badly.
- No special preference or help seems to come to the Muslims competing against the non-Muslims anywhere in the world in any tangible form.
It is time for us all to ponder as to why the promised blessings are not reaching the Muslims and why do we lack behind the others in almost every field.
And, if the blessings are to be given to us in the life hereafter, then that’s entirely a different matter and our preachers must make it clear to us about this fact.
