MQM Referendum
You want Quaid’s Pakistan or Taliban’s Pakistan, is what the MQM leader is so naively asking the people on November 8th? Who would in his proper senses opt for Taliban’s Pakistan over the Quaid’s Pakistan? What a question to be posed for a national referendum?! I sincerely hope that with the obvious outcome that is expected to be Altaf Bhai thumping his chest doesn’t conclude, “Okay, I will be your President for the next 5 years”, as had Maulvi Zia done once upon a time!!
