Bilawal’s Estrangement

Reportedly Bilwal asked his aunt Faryal Talpur, the present chief coordinator of the PPP, to issue a few Senators’ tickets to certain persons, which she declined to oblige. Dady Zardari sided with the sister telling Bilwal that he was  yet in the process of being groomed and that Faryal knew the best what she was doing. Disillusioned and estranged Bilawal left for Dubai and the party cahoots  are covering the rift by calling the departure a security measure taken not to expose him to the naked dangers by campaigning actively for the party for the ensuing elections.

Whatever the reason, it is a God sent opportunity for Bilawal to make full use of and revamp the party. People in general and the PPP Jialas in particular have been totally disappointed with the present lot of the PPPP leadership who has done nothing to ameliorate the lot of the poor in the country and instead have been looting the exchequer with both hands. Bilwal’s such antipathy of the sorts will automatically endear him to the disgruntled party workers who will consider him also to be one of them. I would, therefore, suggest him to hold a public meeting at Garhi Khuda Bukhsh on April 4 or 5, the death anniversary of ZAB, where he should invite the party old guards and members/workers who have been sidelined by his father and co. and promise them and the nation a new and changed future.  In this meeting the present lot of the lutera leadership should either be not invited or given a conspicuous cold shoulder.  He should apologise to the nation and the work ers for the misdeeds of the present PPP leadership and promise them SINCERELY to serve the country selflessly and honestly. Steps should be taken to re-organise and revamp the party by setting up various committees within the party headed by the sincere, capable and most importantly the honest persons. Grievances of the loyal and original party workers be redressed to assuage them.  The aim must be to serve the nation SINCERELY and HONESTLY and the people must be convinced of it now. This will make him win the hearts of all instantly, and when he comes of age after a few months he should enter the assembly to do what he promises them now.  Who knows Pakistan may find a real and sincere leader in him , after all  “Har Faroane ra Musa”!!
