APL condemn the killing of MQM MPA (Sajid Qureshi) and tourists in Gilgit Baltistan
APL (Association of pakistani lawyers) uk has learnt the Sad news of MQM, MPA from Sindh Sajid Qureshi & his son Waqas who was shot dead while returning from Huda mosque after Friday prayers and has condemned it in the strongest of terms.
APL further condemned the killings of innocent foreigners in Gilgit Baktistan in a shoot out and expressed its grief. APL demanded befitting action, pre crime detection through joint intelligence mechanism , prosecution to bring criminals to court and secure convictions. APL further asked for introducing stringent measures to safeguard tourists to send a strong message to international community that Pakistan is safe for tourism, foreign travellers and investors.
APL president recorded a message, that "Our joint condolences to sajid qureshi's family and party and our prayers with those victim tourists. It's very Sad, Painful and Condemnable attack(s) And we condemn such unwarranted target killings in Pakistan which depict Bleak law and order situation in Karachi and in return Pakistan."
He further said, Violence has no place in any progressing society, and solution is strong law courts to punish culprits, joint work of law enforcement, Equal opportunity and space to political parties & rights for polItical forces & deweapinisation in Pakistan in particular Karachi."
"We hope MQM will play its role to bring the serenity of the city back to normal" "and Govt of pakistan to make a policy addressing the issue of increasing radicalisation, target killing, militancy & gun violence and terrorism,"
