APL CONDEMN ATTACK ON AAJ TV

WE condemn intimidation of journalists in Pakistan , Barrister Amjad Malik

(London) 17 February 2014, Association of Pakistani Lawyers (UK) a team of British Pakistani Solicitors, Barristers and judges have taken a serious note of an attack on Media outlet (AAJ TV) & has condemned it in the strongest terms.

“WE condemn harassment, and threatening intimidation of journalists in Pakistan”, and this attack is not the first,” said Barrister Amjad Malik

APL chair Barrister Amjad Malik in a statement has said that, it will not undermine the  resolve of brave journalists of Pakistan to continue their struggle for freedom of information and media rights enshrined in the Article 19 of the 1973 constitution of Pakistan, and we are with them at this difficult and testing times.
 
APL further appreciated the hard working journalists who are working tirelessly in meagre resources for people's right to know and laying their lives in the line of their duty for a greater cause.
