SECURITY ALERT

(No need to panic but prudence demands precaution)
 
A  threat from Tehreek-e-Taliban with a 48 hour deadline is received by the authorities that if any of the Taliban prisoners is hanged they would retaliate forcefully by killing everyone in public places and bomb the schools. As quite a few of their prisoners are to be executed, Pakistan has been placed on Red Alert.

Advise for all:
 
 • Stay indoors as much as possible and avoid unnecessary exposure on the road.
 • Travel only if absolutely necessary, that too with prior information about the safety of the route / security situation.
 • Avoid public/ crowded places.
 • Avoid vicinity of vulnerable mosques, madrassas, processions and public gatherings.
 • Try and keep your fuel tanks full, in case petrol pumps are suddenly closed.
 • Keep some ready cash with you for emergencies and in case you are unable to reach an ATM when suddenly required.
 • Keep your near ones informed about your whereabouts so that you can be reached when required.
 • Do not rely on your cell phone only, have a backup in mind to communicate in case the cell phone service is blocked.
 • Keep your travel documents handy to avoid getting stuck on Police/ Security check points.
 • Be aware of the surroundings, follow the news and seek advice when in doubt.

Serious Security Threat to Punjab especially Lahore.

All schools closed with immediate effect. Please avoid unnecessary (avoidable) movement at Public places (markets, Restaurants, Cinemas etc.). Reaction expected due to hanging of convicted terrorists in coming days. Terrorists  have already entered Lahore and are hiding somewhere. Serious retaliation expected. As the hanging of the terrorist has already started and 15-20 terrorists will be hanged on daily basis, the threat is assumed to have been activated. All jails in Pakistan are secured by Army now. Entry of Trucks, Loader cars and high vehicles prohibited in Lahore.
TTP has planned to kidnap children of Army / ISI especially seniors Officers, Technocrats, Bureaucrats, Politicians, Judges, Top Businessmen etc. and demand release of their detainees awaiting death sentence in lieu of them.

They have made fake security passes of different cantonments in order to carry out the operation.
