A wave of resignations

Last week we saw a wave of resignations hitting first Brother Aitezaz and then Altaf Bhai. They retrieved them immediately after a counter wave from their followers hit them. What if the same wave had hit the President? Would he have resigned and more importantly, would PML-Q have pressurized him to withdraw his resignation?
