Why Dawn boycotted Yvonne Ridley?
Anwar Ul Haque, MD
Pakistan's leading newspaper Dawn which is widely known to be in the hands of CIA and Free Masons had almost totally boycotted famous, eminent and courageous, woman of principles Yvonne Ridley. Dawn did not publish her talk in a gathering at Islamabad club couple of days ago and her speech in a rally in Islamabad day before yesterday. Dawn claims to be liberal and "believes" in freedom of press and media! Perhaps to the extent of Bush and Zionists! Dawn is die heard follower of Musharraf's so called enlightened moderation which has put Pakistan into severe grip of economical crisis, load shedding and worst violence in Pakistan. Dawn was at the forefront of advocating attacking Lal Masjid and killing innocent girls there. Later it celebrated killing of the innocent girls by publishing articles which rubbed the salt in the wounds of the injured hearts and the wounds.
Headed by such dubious characters with clear links with RAW and those who were convicted in theft case of Multimedia from Khaliq Deena Hall, Dawn unfortunately carries the name of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. There is hardly any thing common in both. Perhaps it should carry the statements of Meer Jafir and Meer Sadiq which will be more appropriate. If Dawn can not publish Yvonne Ridley's statements in favor of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and her statements against Bush hypocrisy, it is better for "Dawn" to change its name to "Dark".
