Should the minster resign?

According to a news item, Maulana Attaur Rehman, the Federal Minister of Tourism, was publically scolded by PM for telling "˜lies' on using his name when earlier the said minister sacked Brig (rtd) Aman, the MD, PTDC for not handing over his official Prado. The PM told the MD to stay put and keep the vehicle.

After such humiliation, how is Maulana Sahib going to face the Brig in the ministry, is every body's guess. As a matter of principle and he being a Pashtun, brother of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and a religious leader should seriously think of resigning. The episode not only tainted his honor but the reputation of Maulan Fazlur Rehman on whose recommendation he was made the minister. But then, keeping their past record in mind, JUI is not in the habit of stepping down from power chairs on the matter of ethical codes.
