Talking on various TV channels, the Americanized Ambassador of Pakistan in the US blamed the elites, the journalists and the politicians of Pakistan for not knowing American psyche, mindset and political acumen. He advised them to go to America and live there for a while to understand the statements, the American leadership gives about Pakistan. He was referring to the recent statement given by President Obama in which he called the civilian leadership ‘fragile’.
Contrary to the Ambassador’s explanation, the Prime Minister of Pakistan took the word in its originality and called Obama’s statement as his personal opinion. Would it be right to presume that either our PM should go to America and learn more about American psyche or call the Ambassador back to Pakistan to refresh his knowledge on the public psyche of his native country? After all he has been living in the land of the intellectuals long enough to forget the psyche of Pak intelligentsia.
