Feeding friends

It is reported that whenever Ch Shujat is in Islamabad , he gets up early in the morning and goes off to the Margalla for a stroll where he regularly feeds the monkeys. On his return, he feeds his colleagues who wait for him at his residence. What possible commonalities can we see in these two actions?
