"Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain felicity".

Hajj & Ummah

During Hajj PM Raja Pervez Ashraf attended a banquet hosted by King Fahd given for the Hajj performing heads of the states and apart from it he also held a detailed meeting with Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discussed matters of mutual interest.

What a tremendous opportunity the Hajj can offer to the Muslim States and how I wish that it becomes a regular feature for all (56 or so) Islamic countries’ heads to go to Makkah every year and hold a Conference of the Heads of the Islamic States there for three days or so after the Hajj to discuss the mutual issues and the issues of international importance facing the Ummah?!  Needless to say that apart from infusing a powerful spirit of unity and solidarity  among the Islamic States,  it would also do a lot for the overall betterment of the Ummah.
