Hazrat Umar Farooq R.A.
Shahadat of Hazrat Umar Farooq R.A. was celebrated with great solemnity on 1st
of Muharram (26th October 2014) in Pakistan. However according
to some his shahadat took place on the 27th of Dhu al-Hijja, 23

is on the net in which Mufti Ishaq Madni explains in some detail the
actual date of the Shahadat.
I would, therefore, request the Ulema and Mushaikh including the Islamic
Ideological Council to kindly comment upon this variance and put the nation
wise on the subject.
