Turkish Necklace

An expensive necklace with sentimental values attached being her wedding gift  was donated by the Turkish First Lady Madam Tayyip Erdogan for the flood-hit people of Pakistan in 2010. The necklace had gone missing and has been traced to be in the possession of the former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani. According to the report, Gilani said he had close ties with the Erdogan family and Mrs Erdogan was like a sister to him. “The necklace belongs to my sister and is with me”. Allah Allah Khair Sallah.

Incidentally, FIA is reported to have sent a notice to Mr. Gilani to return the necklace within 48 hours or else a case would be registered against him.

Oh! Lord when will you have mercy upon us and get us rid of such leaders and looters.
