I have personally seen several Americans converting to Islam. Of course I have seen other nationality people to accept Islam. I may summarize with examples here:
1) A Baptists vice Presssident of Church converted to Islam in about three days after reading Quran as Mr. Moses (A trained Nurse from New York, originally Nigerian) told me that the Quran removed all his confusions regarding Jesus and Mary (PBUT)
2) A war veteran gave a lecture in an auditorium where I happened to be present. He said that in Gulf war some Saudi shopkeer gave him a copy of Quran, whcih he read in few days and he had no doubt that it is a book of the God. He was complaining to the Muslims that had they given this book to him 2 years back, his wife would have died Muslim and the tears started rolling from his eyes on his cheek
3) An Englihs nurse whose mother was a missionary was given a copy of Quran to find the faults in it. The daughter started reading it and after going through several pages, had no doubt that it was indeed well protected find divine book. She did not find a single fault and gladly became a Muslim. A Muslim Neurosurgeon' s mother saw her in Hajj after sometime and asked his son to mary her. He propsoed and she accepted. I had seen her living wiht two beauiful children.
4) I saw with my own eyes four American soldiers in full unifrom converting to Islam after a friday prayer. As I was at a distance I could nto ask their reason
5) I read an interview of an Hungarian who in order to learn Arabic to be able to talk to his room mate who happened to be a Christian Arab, got a copy of Quran. after reading it he found the truth and accepted Islam. He later translated Quranic meanings into English and founded the Islamic Society of Hungary
6) An American girl from Cedar Rapids USA visited Spain where she saw Arabic writings on the walls of a mosque. She like the writing so much and could not believe a language could be so beautifully written. She fell in love with Arabic writing and on return to Cedar Rapids that she would like to learn Arabic. Her Non Muslim teacher recommended Quran as the best book in Arabic. The copy of Quran was obtained from Chicago library. SHe read it and in the middle she was sure that it was the book of the God.
7) Yousuf Islam who was Cat Steven before got the cop of Quran from his brother who got it fro an exhibtion in Israel, aftrer reading this book his entire life changed and he accepted Islam
8) An American lady in Kansas was impressed by a Muslim wedding that eventually led to study Islam and Quran and both husband and wife changed to Islam. They sacrificed their lucrative job and worked for Islam in all their life. By teachng Quran the worst prsionsers became the best human beings and that solved many problems in the prisons
9) A christian lady was trying to convert Muslims to Christianity and when found no success, got hold a copy of Quran and started working hard to find faults in it but found none and was absolutely sure that it is a book of the God. She later converted. SHe paid heavy price, her loving husbanded divorced her and the court snatched her children from her. The court gave the choice either she gives up Islam or else she gives up her children. It was the hardest test for a sane, loving and very caring mother. But she opted the faith. Several years latter her ex-husaband also covneted to Islam but he had another wife. The previous wife did not try at all to break the relation and as a matter of fact helped her husband to have a strong marriage bound with the second wife.
10) Muhmmad Ali accepted Islam at very young age. The management found it out in one day before his fight with Sony Listen. They asked hi to leave Islam or the fight was to be cancelled. ALi said O.K. WHich actually meant that he would also loose 300,000 dollars which he had borrowed and was planning to pay back from his fight money. However the fight took place because it was too late for other stock holders. Ali later refuded to go for war in Vet Nam saying that it is not allowed to kill anyone except in genuine war in the path of Allah and for no personal or any Governmental reasons. They snatched his heavy weight title. BUt the God gave him back the title and made him the player of the millenium.
ALl of these accepted Islam by reading Quran. Quran is the only divine book which is preserved in its original language for last 1427 years and it is as fresh and refreshing and understandable as on day 1. If you cmpare this will any other book you will understand the miraculous nature of the book. There is no better place to meet Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Mary and Jesus etc than Quran. This is a living miracle given to the last and the final true Prophet of the God so that it can be tested and seen by all people at all places and at all time. There is no contradiction between it and science, and this fat had led famous Frecnh surgeon Muaric Bucaille to Islam
