In a TV talk show hosted by Dr Shahid Masood; an apparent difference emerged between Zaid Hamid and Dr Farzana Bari on Iqbal when the former spoke of him as Wali without using the actual term, and the latter as Philosopher without using the actual word. They were both right in their understanding of Iqbaliat and those who watched them must have enjoyed the discussion without prejudice to either.

It looks like, the wise judiciary saved the unwise government from constitutional crises by taking a pre-emptive step on presumptive action allegedly suggested by the legal gurus around the President. The PM should open his eyes and realise that being the constitutional chief executive after the 18th amendment, it would have been his neck on the block, as the action would have been a treasonable
