Dr. Inayatullah, a well regarded intellectual and co-founder of the Council of Social Sciences (Pakistan), was born on June 3, 1931 and passed away recently. He obtained his Master’s degree in Sociology from Michigan State University and a PhD in Political Science from Indiana University in the USA. Allama Inayatullah Khan Al-Mashriqi was born on August 25, 1888. Mashriqi obtained his initial education at home and then attended school in Amritsar, prior to joining Foreman Christian College (F.C.
