My dear friend, it is easy to point out and say nasty things about the government for a person who is living abroad. Ground realities are quite different. It is true that this is nothing new and has been going on for quite some time now. But Why the people as you say have gone dead? My friend the people never got what they wanted with the governments that they them selves elected election after election. They are now tired of the games played by the politicians and they are at peace as long as there lively hood and peace at home is not disturbed. I think the school of thought for the people should change, Instead of bitching about blaming the government to provide and do every little and small thing for them, they should change their approach to +ve that at least its not total darkness. How many of us have disciplined our selves to follow the law or to obey simple traffic rules our keep the front of our own house clean ? forget others.It is the people who should start to think correctly and behave as a civilized society. It is the same Paki that while going to Canada is more than willing to work hard, respect the law of the land, doesn't even think of bribing but accepts his fault, look after his neighbors and abide by the rules of the host country but seems to forget it all when comes back to Pakistan. Do you know why? Simply because he thinks that this is home, Love Pakistan, Nothing really matters here. Kiya Baat hai Pakistan ki, you can have your way around here. If some one is even trying to do his job honestly, The people would try to bribe him so that he may give them concession on the violation that they wish to make. SO screw the people at the end as they have chosen to live in a corrupt system thinking that THIS IS PAKISTAN. It doesn't matter here.
