Is Pakistan an independent & sovereign country
Time and again our authority is challenged but we either do not react and or react very late. Many hours before I read that US Senate is going to discuss about Baluchistan but under what authority and pretext. Very much surprisingly I have been checking both Dawn and News at the net on hourly basis if anyone speaks out about it but nothing could be read except that just now our spokesman Abdul Basit of Foreign Office has issued a statement saying that our concern has been conveyed to USA both in Washington and Islamabad which is a commendable effort though very much late. Will we be able to stop US Senate not to talk about Baluchstan which is one of our provinces and not one of US states? Where are they namely Dr Ashiq, Information Minister; Khursheed Shah, Religious Affairs Minister and Dr Babar Awan who have always been found commenting on all topics irrespective of the fact whether the subject relates to them or not? Shouldn’t they rise to the occasion?
Just an hour before only Cameron Munter, American ambassador has the guts to say in Islamabad that NATO supplies are being continued through Pakistani airspace though we have suspended land route supplies as a protest since some weeks back our men were killed by NATO forces in Salala, Malakand Agency. What does it mean? Who authorized USA to use our airspace without our approval and if we have allowed it then the question is why did we stop its land route supplies? Didn’t anyone else other than me read what American diplomat said?
Wake up and prove we are not am American colony but an independent and sovereign country.
