Well done Misbah today you proved captain.

After very long time today only you have played captain innings against Sri Lanka in Asia Cup though you had been captain in so many others matches too but regretfully you did not play what is expected of you. Undoubtedly you are a certified run getter and had batted magnificently in many matches but recently for one reason or the other you had been a bit dormant which we simply could not afford and resultantly we lost many games. Today you did play real innings of a true captain scoring 72 runs and steered out Pakistan not only from deep water but also earned us a very badly needed victory too. You made it possible to score more than Sri Lanka and that too in less over.  You have put us back on the track which we had lost in previous matches played in UAE but today you have compensated us for the loss we had to taste earlier. You must keep it up and do not lose the tempo when face India in next game. Sri Lanka was one the favorites to lift the cup but today your innings has proved it wrong that they were better than us.

I not only in my personal capacity but also on behalf of my compatriots whether living back home or overseas avail this opportune to heartily congratulate you and your whole team upon defeating Sri Lanka in such a convincing manner. Now we wish and pray that day after tomorrow India too must be beaten by Pakistan.
