Why to appeal, against what and for what?

Most of you will not be with me when you just read this heading only but once you have read my pen in a bit depth I am sure that then you will vote for me and not against me simply because to me there is no point for our most honorable Prime Minster Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani to appeal to Supreme Court of Pakistan against his conviction.

What to appeal is my very 1^st question? PM had not only been convicted and sentenced but he has undergone his imprisonment as well so what could be the rationale, if any, to appeal for? Had he not undergone the punishment then PM could have filed an appeal in the appropriate court saying that he may not be sent to undergo any type of punishment but since that punishment has already been carried out so I very much doubt that his appeal can be an appeal in the truest sense of the word. 7 members bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan had already sentenced PM to undergo the punishment and thus practically speaking he was utterly barred to take out even one step out the chamber when he was sentenced to undergo the punishment till rising of the court so then what is left out to be appealed against?

Say for academic discussion only if not otherwise that PM appeals and eventually wins his appeal as well then what will happen is my next question? How winning the appeal will get back the punishment he has already undergone right before his lot of subordinates (Malik, Interior Minister is just one of them) and others in the Supreme Court? Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan who had been my law teacher defended the Prime Minister was also very much in the court chamber and he just helplessly watched seeing his client undergoing the sentence as punishment. Then there were many other ministers and heavy weights of different political parties but none could do anything except see their favorite Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani being so humiliated publicly.

How humiliation suffered by SYRG can be restored is my 3rd question but not limited to just to PM alone or for that matter to my law teacher as well but to each and every Pakistani whether male or female; Muslim or non Muslim; educated or uneducated; young or old; working in public sector or private sector; employer or employee; living within the territorial limits of Pakistan or overseas to solve the unsolved riddle? I am pretty sure that there must be someone like Aristotle or Plato amongst Pakistanis who can very judiciously tell us as to how humiliation can be washed off from the face of our Prime Minsiter Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani?

The only possibility though very much impossible could be that say if PM wins in appeal against his conviction then PM can demand that all those 7 judges who sentenced him to undergo the punishment must now undergo the same punishment to square up his account with the 7 members bench which as such could also be very much satisfying the ego of SYRG. I have very much my doubts that SC will entertain such like move to punish none but its own judges and if so then why to appeal for nothing.

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has got himself recorded in all books round the world that he had been convicted which can never ever be washed off come what may. May be through his official authority SYRG could prevail upon some of our historians, statisticians and writers not to mention his name amongst the criminals of the country but this not the answer as the list of convicts is prepared internationally as well and no international office, agency or organization will ignore SYRG. Needless to mention that a convict is a convict who has no reference whatsoever to the duration of punishment so he or she convicted till rising of the court is a convict for all practical purposes whether SYRG likes it or not.

Will or should PM Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani still appeal, I dare ask you?
