I salute President.

This has reference to the news flashed today (Sun 27th Aug 2012) stating that President Asif Ali Zardari while presiding over an important meeting has categorically told PM Raja Pervez to attend Supreme Court in connection with contempt of court. Former PM and many cabinet ministers in attendance at the meeting differed with President and pleaded that PM must not attend but President prevailed over them and instructed PM not to be absent. I think President took very prudent decision because PM's presence or absence is meaningless in a sense that if court is going to sentence PM then he will be sentenced whether in presence or in absence so what is the logic to be absent which would be annoying and may entail higher punishment. 

I must salute President for taking the right decision at the right time which also proves that he believes in supremacy of judiciary and equality before law
