‘Tears rolled down’

I can say on my honor or more correctly on Holy Quran that I am not and cannot be the only one individual, rather on the contra, many of us whether Muslims or non Muslims; Pakistanis or other nationals; men or women living in east or west including Israel must have broken down in tears or at least very much shocked and saddened to see 4 young children of Al Dallu family killed by Israeli missile. I as a daily routine have gone through our dailies namely Nation, Dawn, Tribune, Pakistan Observer, Frontier Post and Daily Times and noticed that though each of the newspaper has very boldly and prominently flashed the news about Israel and Palestine recent conflict but one way or the other Nation is the only daily which flashed the same horrifying and heart-breaking photo of 4 children which is on front page of Arab Times, Kuwait as well.

The news say that as many as 9 members of the same Al Dallu family have been killed when an Israeli missile hit a 3 storey building in northern Gaza raising it to ground.  Nine who lost their lives in just one go were policemen Mohamamd Al Dallu 35, Suheila Al Dallu 50, Samah Al Dallu 22, and five children: Jamal and Sara whose  ages could not be known immediately, 5 years old Youseff, 2 years old Ranin and 11 months old Ibrahim. This news is not just a news as one many think of rather it is very much mind boggling not only for Palestinians but even for Israelis for the simple reason that human is after all a human and from that point of view at the heart if the heart there cannot be any difference on human feelings be those of friends or foes. I am sure if Israeli who fired the killing missile on the ill fated Al Dulla family himself sees this very photo he will himself sob and cry seeing as young as 11 month-old dead because of him triggering the missile. It is a known proverb saying that all is fair in love and war but I very much doubt if it holds any subsistence all the time under all the conditions like this one where 9 lives of the same family are lost even though they were not at all combatants in the conflict. What gain, if any, Israel had scored by killing the innocent lives? How did Israel prove superior to Palestine by killing them?

I appeal to the world conscious to rise to the occasion and must punish all those who are proving even to be worst than a beast what to talk of being a human because one cannot kill anyone at will even in war. Geneva Conventions very specifically lays down as to who cannot be attacked even during war and therefore let us come forward to enforce GC in its true spirit so that we guarantee that the unconcerned will not be hit and suffer for no reason and rhyme. US President Obama who publicly and loudly supports Israel in attacking Palestine must as a human should punish Israel for committing such barbarous atrocities on the poor Palestinians and I am sure shock waves must have travelled in his heart by seeing pitiful, poignant and heart-rending photo of the poor children killed of the same family.

Who takes the lead, when and where proclaiming and ensuring that human blood is nit that dirt cheap to be drained alike? Who will guarantee that this should be the last and I repeat last time to kill innocent Palestinians who are as human as Israelis or Americans if I am not a mouth?
