Matter of shame or pride?

Without favoring Dr Qadri or President Zardari the hard fact is that people are being axed in Pakistan each second from each and angle be it threat to life or provision of basic life necessities and the worst is that the government is just a silent spectator and nothing more though they boast of the being the best ever rulers which prompted Dr to jump in to get some relief to the masses without any personal gain.

Dr Qadri had publicly invited all stake holders which definitely included President Zardari as well to come forward with their suggestions to discuss and arrive at some mutually agreed upon formula but none either from the government or opposition came forward which is very much regrettable.

Yesterday Friday 11th Dy PM Ch Pervaiz Elahi with Ch Shujaat Hussain did come to Dr to negotiate but it is nothing but just a face keeping effort on the part of Zardari as the march of 14 cannot be deferred at such eleventh hour when people have already boarded trains from Karachi heading to Islamabad to participate in the long march which will start tomorrow Sun at 9 am in Lahore led by Dr Qadri.

What can be any justification for Zardari and Baluchistan government to still cling to the power when none came to listen to those who are gathered along with 86 dead bodies of their relatives in Quetta for more than 18 hours till now. This is unprecedented in Pakistan history that dead are not buried for so many long hours and the protesters want that under the present situation when civil administration has completely failed thus Quetta be handed over to Army and they will not bury the dead unless mutually agreed upon formula is struck.

Latest news is that people have demonstrated in front of Pakistan High Commission, London about Quetta situation.

It is undisputed that Dr Qadri has very successfully and forcefully highlighted the miseries of people of Pakistan so from that point of view he did triumph in his efforts even before physically leading the long march which is to commence in 22 hours from now.
