Is it a white lie or a hard truth?
Pakistan interim Prime Minister is yet to be selected and so many days have already passed since the government and opposition started the process and had proposed their nominees for the purpose but regretfully after many meetings by both the parties none could mutually be selected at the 1st stage. Therefore as per the constitution the matter had gone to 2nd stage wherein parliamentary committee consisting of 4 members from the government and opposition had 3 days time to pick up the person but one way or the other after so many meetings in morning, afternoon and night met for 3 consecutive days but yet they failed to personify the Prime Minister and therefore as a last resort the case has gone to Election Commission of Pakistan as a last resort.
ECP consisting of 5 members is headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice ® Fakhruddin G Ibrahim has 4 members, one each from each province namely Justice ® Mohammad Roshan, Sindh; Justice ® Riyaz Kiyani, Punjab; Justice ® Shahzad Akbar Khan, Pukhtun Khawa and Justice ® Fazalur Rehman, Baluchistan is the 3rd and last tier to pick up next Prime Minister within 2 days which started yesterday and will end today. Yesterday on the 1st day when ECP met to decide as to who would be the next prime minister unfortunately it lacked in quorum in a sense that Sindh Member Justice Roshan was missing and did not attend any meeting the whole day. It had been said that yesterday he was unable to get a seat in any flight from Karachi to Islamabad but today is very much with ECP in Islamabad and participating in the process.
Should it be believed that yesterday Justice Roshan really could not get a seat in any flight from Karachi to Islamabad but how and why? Without going into the details as to how many flights operated yesterday between Karachi and Islamabad the simplest question is how could one seat not be secured when such an important person of ECP had to fly to the capital and that too in the greatest interest of the country? Couldn’t Islamabad instruct management of PIA, Air Blue and Shaheen to accommodate Justice Roshan on any of their flights? Couldn’t a plane from our VVIP fleet be sent to fly him on such an important day though time and again such courtesy has been extended by Islamabad to various personalities and it very well met the merits that Justice Roshan be flown by a VVIP plane? Did Justice Roshan convey any message by absenting yesterday but attending today?
What is the truth, white lie or hard truth, can you enlighten me at least?
