Puzzling question
At the very outset I must pronounce aloud and in quite crystal clear terms that I will be honest rather dead honest in my writing and I will state nothing but facts and facts alone. Just now at 0700 my time and 0900 (PST) I have visited web site of Election Commission of Pakistan and noted down the status of MNAs as of now.
Pakistan elections held on Saturday 11th instant are very much unique from many different angles and though in each election whether held in Pakistan or in any foreign country there ought to be some surprises so from that point of view it is quite normal to find some upsets in our this election too but nevertheless one find so many startling unexpected surprises that I simply cannot be quiet and thus had to pick up pen to pen my candid opinion on the same. ECP has still not announced result of as many as 14 seats (NA 41, 46, 216, 217, 229, 230, 239, 255, 258, 260, 267, 270 and 271). How and why ECP cannot announce the winners though elections were held as back as 11th? What perplexes me the most is that when ECP can announce the result of rest MNAs numbering 256 what stops ECP to announce the result of these 14 as well. Very much surprisingly at this point of time when telecommunication facilities are too fast and each one is reachable in seconds even if thousands mile away I simply cannot understand why ECP is so much incapacitated and handicapped on just these 14 MNAs and not the rest of them. How ECP could announce the result of bulk majority if MNAs is a big question? What can be the rationale, if any, for such an inordinate delay? One can very well understand the mental agony of all those candidates who have contested in those constituencies because none of them can be sure if he is winning or even losing which is really too much pricking or even killing to be honest. Did they commit any crime to contest and hence being punished alike or what?
Will ECP announce the result of above mentioned 14 constituencies with May, 2013 if not May 2014?
