Ahmad Mansoor Al Ahmad Al Sabah congratulated
Iqbal Hadi Zaidi, former Pakistani
diplomat called on Sheikh Ahmad Mansoor Abdullah Al Sabah on Thursday 27th
March, 2014 and handed over his framed poem captioned ‘Appointment Greetings’.
Last week His Highness Shiekh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait
issued an Amiri decree appointing Sheikh Ahmad Mansoor Abdullah al Sabah as
General Manager, Public Authority for Sports and Youth. Iqbal recited his poetic greetings which
Sheikh Ahmad Mansoor Al Sabah very much liked and very warmly thanked Pakistani
for composing such a nice poem befitting his new appointment. Iqbal during the
discussion with Sheikh said that he is here since 1978 and therefore Kuwait is
second home for him and thus it is quite but natural on his part to
congratulate Sheikh upon his VIP appointment. Iqbal while chatting with Sheikh on
the occasion opined that Amir of Kuwait by appointing him and ignoring many
others to head PASY has reposed his full confidence in Sheikh Ahmad Mansoor
believing that he embedded with sharp farsighted vision duly punctuated with
vast experience in the field will put in his heart and soul to work with full
zeal and zest uplifting the activities of sports and youth in the country. Iqbal
was neither reluctant nor hesitant to say it aloud in quite crystal clear terms
without any shadow of doubt that it is a matter of just few days not weeks to
notice what concrete steps will be taken up by Sheikh to rejuvenate and shape and
sharpen up the activities of the authority. Iqbal prayed Allah to bestow His
total blessings and bounties on Sheikh Ahmad Mansoor to earn more and more
laurels, recognition and awards at PAYS both within the country and at global
level.
Sheikh thanked again Iqbal for his
poetic greetings who in turn before leaving the place wished to call on Sheikh
again as and when he could squeeze a few moments to meet the expatriate and it
is his true greatness that he agreed for next meeting during coming fortnight. Sheikh
