To,
Mr. Abdul Bahadur,
Naib Nazim Union Council Kotha,
District Swabi.
Respected Sir,
It is submitted in your honour that I was deeply impressed by your encouragement in the performance of my duty as a Teacher. You came to my school named GPS NO. 3 Kotha, District Swabi, on Tuesday, 03 June 2008 and appreciated my duty as a Teacher. I have accepted your Rs. 1000/- for me as Rs. 1, 000, 00 and Rs. 500/- for my Class as Rs. 50, 000 keeping in view your rank in the hierarchy of the Governmental authorities.
I am serving in this Department since 23-05-1988 and am closely watching the treatment of the Government and the departmental authorities with teachers since then because my father was also in the Education Department and I have considered this department as my parental department.
I am serving in your Village Kotha, District Swabi since 1991. Those students who have remained with me in my class are the best judges for analysing my performance. I have not performed my duty in fear of any officer or authority except Almighty Allah and that is why I have seen many hardships in marching on this way of righteousness but I have never succumbed to any pressure and have always raised slogan for the right. I was suspended, stopped salaries, baseless allegations were levelled but I faced every wrath of the departmental officers with this sense that Almighty Allah is the Al-Knowing, Al-Wise and Al-Living Judge. I have never made anyone supporter except Allah and I have practically demonstrated it.
I am very grateful to Almighty Allah that he fulfilled my all desires, which were burning in my heart for many years. It was my desire that I should be an L.L.B Degree holder, Allah gave me when Mr. Pervaiz Khan Advocate, now MNA from Swabi, brought the Swabi Law College. I was the first student who got admission in that College for night classes. I had the desire that I should be expert in using the Computer; Allah gave so much proficiency in the Computer and in the Internet, which fulfils my requirements. I do not need anything more for my self but for the people of my Province and Pakistan and wish that the system be rectified.
Recently, Mr. Pervaiz Khan asked me to study all the materials in his possession, which he wished to be included in his book named: THE CROWN-LESS KING OF THE PAKHTOON AFGHANS. When I studied the material, I found Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan as a Teacher, working on a larger canvas, seeking nothing except the reform of the people of his nation. When I was a political Science student, I studied that in making East Pakistan as Bangladesh; teachers had vitally played their role and made their dreams for a separate Country after 25 years into reality. On this concept in view, I intended to work for strengthening my Country by performing duty as Teacher to the best of my abilities and to withstand every pressure from every corner in this regard.
I got the L.L.B Degree in the imitation of Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah who was a principled man not only in dealing with the Courts but also in dealing with his clients and common people. I wish that every lawyer and every Judge of this Country should be a replica of that great leader not only in the eyes of a few persons but also in the eyes of all the people of Pakistan.
I still remember the first lecture of Mr. Pervaiz Khan in his Swabi law College on 26-02-2001 when he said that every person should know the law, not necessarily to be become a lawyer but to become a good, polite and duty-conscious citizen of the Country and that is why when he asked me to help him in writing the book on the Great Leader, I promptly accepted his request.
I submitted proposals to every Government for the uplifting of the literacy and quality of Education in the Country but they were proved drops on the goose back. The Education did not develop but the budgets allocated for this purpose changed the destinies of many persons in the Governments and in the department.
I wish that the Teachers should be given highest salaries like those given to them in the foreign countries so that they may have no financial worries.
I have admitted my own son with in my class so that to show the authorities of the Government and the Department that what I like for the people also like for me. I wish that those who are in the Government and in the department should toe my line in this regard.
It is bad luck of our people that the previous Government of MMA spent 1 billion rupees on only five schools in this Province. It was nothing but misuse of authority and misuse of the fund for the Education. Is anyone in the Government can dare to do away theirs, this act? I have considered my duty as a sacred trust and am trying to discharge it to the benefit of the people of Pakistan on this smaller canvas.
I hope that the present Government would spare no effort to raise the quality of Education and the living standard of the Teachers by giving them such salaries, which may help them to lead their lives with honour and dignity.
I also pray for your long life and increase in authority for the service on a higher post so that the people may be benefited from your honesty, sincerity and love for humanity.
I also pray to see my beloved Country free from the curse of illiteracy, ignorance, intolerance and narrow-mindedness. No one will come for the minimization of our sufferings. It is our duty to make Pakistan a best Country to be lived in.
Thanks.

Manzoor Ahmad
