Request to the Federal Minister for Water and Power

                        The PPP Government came to power with tall talking and lofty claims and showed green meadows to the people of Pakistan that it will change the system but the people have now lost confidence in them and their Government. They neither controlled the prices of the essential commodities nor rectified the system. The officials have so defiant that no one is ready even to obey the order of his superior. The best proof is with me of the officials of the WAPDA in village Marghuz, District Swabi, NWFP, Pakistan.

                        A transformer has been damaged by the officials of the WAPDA and then went away on 12-07-2008. Up to Mr. Pervaiz Khan MNA from Swabi was informed that the transformer had gone damaged but no one is ready to reinstate the supply to the people. The DMO (PESCO) issued direction to the AMO, Zaida, Swabi but he did not visited the spot till the filing of this Article on the deplorable performance of WAPDA.

                        The PPP stalwarts kept in the minds of the people that President Musharraf is the root cause of all the problems but the reality is opposite. They gained power and now the situation is so worst that even the officers are not willing to obey the orders of the High Ups.

                        Who will come and correct the Transformer for the people of the village when is defective for the last 6 days and 5 nights and now every kind of problem is being faced by the inhabitants of the area. The Government should establish its writ in its own department and give relief to the people. Government is responsible for the disappointment among the people. When this hypocrisy will end from our Country? When the system will be rectified? People are of the view that the Government will devote its attention to the problems of the people when it find a moment because the Government is busy either in mourning the deaths of their leaders or celebrating their birthdays or visiting foreign countries for nothing.

                        I request the Government both at Federal and Provincial to devote its attention to those problems which have hit the hearts of the people otherwise, the people will once again welcome to another Military General for the solution of their problems.
