MQM & Qadiyanis' Israel Connection

By Dr Shahid Qureshi in The London Post, 1st October 2008

(I have been saying since early 2007 that the war for the liberation of Afghanistan would be fought on the soil of Pakistan . This was because the country's policy was in the hands of one Qadiyani - Tariq Aziz. Musharraf has gone but Pakistan 's policy is now in the hands of Asif Zardari and two Qadiyanis "“ Tariq Aziz and Rehman Malik. The war of Afghanistan 's liberation has decisively shifted to Pakistan and India is being encouraged to implement its goals that had been long pursued discreetly. The Qadiyani Quislings are facilitating India while the armed forces stand demoralised and the political class is too inept to understand let alone stem the India tide. The alertness of the people alone can thwart Zardari and his cohorts from a "˜sell out' on Kashmir and Mohajir Mafia (MQM) becoming the rulers of Pakistan in perpetuity like the Brahmins in India and the Jews In America . + Usman Khalid +)

More Qadiyanis serve in the Israeli Armed Forces than in Pakistan according to a book, "˜ Israel : A Profile', by a respected Jewish Professor I.T Naomi. He states: "˜"¦ and the Ahmadi sect of some 600 people from Pakistan can also serve in the (Israeli) army...' To many analysts, the Qadiaynis are a political issue and have always been a security problem (for Pakistan ). In India , the Qadiyanis collected and donated thousands to the Indian Army fund after Kargil.

On 15th February 1987, Pakistani Foreign Minister, Sahibzada Yakub Khan stated in an answer to a question in the National Assembly that there were 328 Qadiyani officers of different ranks in the Pakistan Armed Forces. He said, there were one  Lt. General and five Brigadiers in the Army, one Commodore in the Navy and six of equivalent rank in the Air Force. The number of Colonels or equivalent was 10 in the Army, two in the Navy and three in the Air Force (total- 15). The number of Lt. Colonels or similar ranks was 56 in the Army, 6 in the Navy, and 11 in the Air Force (total-73). The number of Major or equivalent ranks was 135 in the Army, 5 in the Navy and 16 in the Air Force (total- 156). The numbers of Captain or equivalents were 58 in the Army, 5 in the Navy, and 14 in the Air Force (total "“77). Grand Total =328.

Now the question is: after 20 years where are these officers? How far up the ladder have they gone? What is their current status in the armed forces and intelligence agencies? "Qadiyanis were created for political reasons and also to confuse the Muslims especially on the matter of "˜Jihad", said a senior analyst.

"˜Give peace to the Ahmadis (another name for the Qadiyanis) if you want peace in Karachi ', said a very senior Qadiyani leader to me in 1995 while sitting in one of his fully licensed restaurants at Wilmslow Road , Manchester . That was the time when Benazir Bhutto's government was engaged in a "˜clean up' operation against the MQM in Karachi under Interior Minister Naseerullah Babar. That alerted me: what was the link between Qadiyanis, who are mostly from the province of the Punjab , and the MQM?

I attended a UN sponsored conference on Human Rights in London when a close friend took me to see Mr. Altaf Hussain (leader of the MQM) at his London offices in August 1995. I was shown video clips of the rough treatment being to MQM workers in Karachi . I got an opportunity to talk to the "˜leader' and I asked him about his plans to carve out a Mohajir state on the coast of the SINDH province that is referred to as "˜Jinnahpur conspiracy'. I suggested to Mr Altaf Husain, "˜don't say anything which you cannot take back'. I told him about the example of Sheikh Mujeeb- ur- Rehman's six points' that led to the 1971 War between India and Pakistan . After all, liver damage caused by drinking alcohol and smoking of hashish is irreversible.

The close contacts of the MQM with Tariq Aziz, National Security Advisor of former President Musharraf, a Qadiyani, have been well known. He is a relation of Rehman Malik, Advisor Ministry of Interior in Zardari Administration. Tariq Aziz has been hired by the new Administration because of his experience as lead negotiator in "˜track two diplomacy' with India that paved the way for a "˜sell-out' on Kashmir . His rank and salary would be equivalent to a federal minister. President Zardari has been eager to pursue the secret agenda of General Musharraf on Kashmir . It is also understood that the MQM and PPP are planning to move a resolution in the parliament to undo constitutional amendments that declared the Qadiaynis as non-Muslims by Prime Minister ZA Bhutto on 7th September 1974. None of this seems to bother the rank and file or the leaders of the PPP, who founder and popular leader was the architect of the Kashmir policy and of excluding the Qadiyanis from the pail of Islam.

Of late, Altaf Hussain has emerged as the champion of the Qadiyanis even though the Shia (the sect to which he belongs) have been stronger in condemnation of the Qadiyani heresy than the other sects. On 8th September 2008, Mr Altaf Hussain said, there was "a widespread conspiracy against the MQM of sending fax letters and emails to individuals and to Imam Bargahs and Mosques domestically and internationally inciting hatred and provoking attacks against Shiite and the Qadiyani sects maligning the image of the MQM and falsely portraying it to be against the Shiite and Ahmadi sects".

Altaf Hussain also prayed for the forgiveness and blessings of Allah (swt) for Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the Qadiyani leader who died in London few of years ago. One wonders why Altaf Hussain, who also lives in London , did not attend the prayer at his funeral? Is it because the Qadiyanis are not a sect of Islam but a separate faith. The Qadiyanis do not pray with non-Qadiyanis; not even funeral prayers. Sir Zafrullah, who was Qadiyani holding the office of Foreign Minister at the time, did not attend the funeral of Muhammad Ali Jinnah (father of the nation of Shia sect) whose funeral prayers were conducted by a Sunni Cleric.

The "˜Impact' magazine published from London , wrote: "˜The National Assembly (in 1974) removed a long standing but an unnecessary anomaly. The decision served only to formalise the de facto even de jure position. The problem had arisen not because the Muslims in some fit of orthodoxy or fanaticism wanted to "˜excommunicate' any group of people. Its origin, on the other hand, lay in the assumption by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadiyan of Messiahship, and prophethood and consequently branding those who did not believe in him to be outside the pail of his Islam.

The Qadiyani view of their relationship with Muslims was well summarised by their second caliph, Mirza Mahmud Ahmad. He wrote:

"Our worship has been separated from the non "“Ahmadis, we are prohibited from giving our daughters (in marriage) to them and we have been stopped from offering prayers for their dead. What then is left that we can do together? There are two kinds of ties: one religious the other mundane. The greatest expression of the religious bond is in common worship and in matters mundane, these are the ties of family and marriage. But both are forbidden (haram) to us. If you say that we are permitted to take their daughter (in marriage), then I would reply that we are allowed to marry the daughters of Christians as well. If you say why do we Salam (salute) to non- Ahmadis, then the reply to this is that "¦ the Prophet (Muhammad) said Salam to the Jews"¦ Thus the Promised Messiah (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) has separated us, in all possible ways, from the others; and there is no kind of relationship which is particular to Muslims and we are not forbidden from (entering into) that", (Kalimatul Fazal', by Mirza Mahmud Ahmad in Review of Religions).

In 1935 that Allama (Dr. Sir) Mohammad Iqbal, a poet philosopher asked the British Government to declare the Qadiyanis as separate community just as they had done with the Sikhs. Sir Iqbal said, "˜the Qadiyanis while pursuing a policy of separation in religion and social matters "˜, however, are anxious to remain politically with the fold. The Qadiyanis will never take initiative for separation', argued Sir Iqbal because their small number (56,000) according to 1931 census would not entitle them "˜even to a single seat in any legislature. The Qadiyanis asked the British Government that, "˜our rights too should be recognised like those of Parsees and Christians reported (Al Fadhi 13th November 1946).

"It was common knowledge that Jalaluddin Qamar, the Ahmedyah Missionary of Rabwah had been serving in Israel since 1956 when Ch. Muhammad Sharif was called back to Pakistan from Israel . All Qadiyani missionaries who had been formerly posted in Israel since 1928 namely J.D Shams, Allah Dita Jalundhari, Rashid Ahmed Chaughtai, Noor Ahmad and Ch. Sharif lived in Rabwah after serving in Israel . Their families had mysterious contact channels when they were in Israel ", wrote Bashir Ahmad in "˜Ahmadiyah Movement: British Jewish Connection.

As far as Jewish help and support is concerned, Mirza Mubarak Ahmad, grandson of the Qadiyani prophet has himself acknowledged in his book "˜OUR FOREIGN MISSIONS', PP. 79-80 in the following words: "The Ahmadiyya mission in Israel is situated in Haifa at Mount Karmal. We have a mosque there, a mission house, a library, a book depot and a school".

According to the latest reports "˜Altaf Hussain is receiving instructions from foreign powers, particularly India . He receives millions of Dollars all of which do not come from the business community in Karachi ' as he claims'.  The British Government does not merely protect him but also prevents scrutiny of his activities and source of his funds. He has had many meetings with US diplomats, including the US Under-secretary of State - Robin Raphael. Therefore, when Altaf Hussain says, "˜LOC should be made permanent border', it is not for pursuing any Mohajir interest; it is pursuant to instructions he receives. He seemingly follows the Indo-US line on Kashmir . According to M. Ahmad Kazmi , writing in Milligazette. com, under the title: US Intentions in Kashmir ', that line is:

"The US policy-makers in the post-cold war era seem to be increasingly aggressive to implement the Dixon Plan in Kashmir for attaining ultimate target of having a foothold in the region and to use Kashmir as their main operations station. Before going into the US activities in the region, it would be useful to understand the broad framework of the Dixon Plan. Named after its author Sir Owen Dixon, who was the UN representative for India and Pakistan in 1950, the plan envisages a division of Kashmir between India and Pakistan . Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru favoured this plan, but it was a non-starter because Liaqat Ali Khan, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan , rejected it. The US policy makers have resurrected the plan in recent years with some refinement. In the first phase, the idea of recognizing the Line of Control (LOC) as an international border is being mooted through different quarters".

A senior analyst said, "˜Altaf Hussain's latest filtration with the Qadiyanis is not a coincidence? So, what is he up to? Start a civil war in Karachi ? Cripple the economy? If Altaf Hussain goes down that route, the Government of Pakistan should ask for his extradition, closure of so called "˜international secretariat', and seek international investigation into MQM funds held in London , Dubai , Kenya , South Africa , Tanzania , Canada and the United States . If these countries do not co-operate, the route for NATO and allied force ' s for the supplies (80%) and fuel (40%)delivered to Afghanistan via Karachi port is bound to become insecure. Time has come that the USA and its allies be asked by the world: what are their real objectives in Afghanistan ?'
