Details of terrorist attacks on the MQM

• In NWFP the terrorist elements of the Awami National Party (ANP) armed with lethal weapons attacked the residences of Incharge MQM NWFP Roshan Khan and other Members of the Organising Committee. They threatened the family members of dire consequences and ransacked the house.

• The armed terrorist elements of PPP, MMA, Sunni Tehrik, PPP Shaheed Bhutto Group and other so-called nationalist parties attacked the MQM Zonal Office in Shikarpur, ransacked the office and looted the valuables. More attacks were also reported in Qasimabad, Ghotki, Thatta, Khairpur, Jacobabad and other areas of interior Sindh. MQM workers are being threatened to quit the party and close down all the party offices.

• The MQM Provincial Office in Balochistan was also earlier attacked and burnt by the terrorists of ANP in Quetta.

• In Karachi numerous MQM offices were burnt down by armed terrorists of PPP and Sunni Tehrik. In Kemari three offices at Hussain Market Jakson, Okahi Colony and Camela Chawk Bhatta Village. Four of these terrorists have been arrested in their act. These terrorists also attacked the residence of MQM Bhatta Village Rabita Incharge Abdul Jabbar and threatened the family members of dire consequences. Terrorists of ANP and PPP attacked the residences of MQM Kemari Sector Member Naseeb Ullah Khan and Anwar Memon and threatened the family members. Similarly three more MQM offices in Bin Qasim Town, i.e. UC1 Ali Brohi Goth Ibrahim Hyderi, Lalabad and UC3 Allah Bux Hamayati Goth. The local Unit Incharge Majnu was also harassed and threatened. These terrorists also visited the homes of MQM workers in Ibrahim Hyderi and threatened the family members.

• The terrorists of ANP and other parties resorted to indiscriminate firing and injured MQM worker Mohammad of Unit 131. He received bullet injury on his head and has been admitted in Liaquat National Hospital. His condition is serious.

• Terrorists of PPP Jabbar, Tariq Rehmani and Abdul Rauf Baloch armed with latest lethal weapons attacked the medical store of MQM Old Lyari Sector Incharge Wahab Serbazi, ransacked and looted the shop.

• In Gulshan-e-Hadeed, UC5 and UC7, terrorists of ANP and PPP attacked the MQM UC7 Office and burnt it down. Armed terrorists attacked the homes of MQM UC7 workers Mamnoon, Khalid Rind and Yaseen Korai, ransacked their homes and threatened the family members. The terrorists attacked the home of MQM worker Mohammad Jameel of UC3 in Kemari, opened indiscriminate firing and harassed the area residents. In Bin Qasim Town Lalabad Christian Colony the terrorists of ANP attacked the residences of three members of MQM Minority Wing. In Baldia Town Ittehad Town Block 'C' armed terrorists of JUI and PPP abducted Nazeer, a worker of MQM Minority Wing, subjected him to inhuman torture and injured him.In Saddar Town Narain Pura terrorists of Sunni Tehrik abducted Vinod, a worker of MQM Minority Wing, and subjected him to torture.
