BEIJING, August 7 Agha Tanveer Report: Chairman, Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was accorded a state level reception when he arrived here and appeared for the first time at an international forum after getting elected as Party Chief. On arrival at the head of the delegation, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, was warmly received by the minister and senior member of CPC Chen Feng Xiang along with other party leaders and presented bouquets.

The protocol and contents of the programme of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is at par with the any head of the state or head of the government.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also attend a banquet reception to be hosted by Chinese President Hu Jintao on Friday that will be participated by all the head of the states and governments that came here to attend the opening ceremony of the 29^th Olympiad.

His Friday's engagements included meeting with Chinese Minister of International Department of CPC, Central Committee Wang Jiarui.

On the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also extended invitation to the Chinese leadership for official visit to Pakistan.

The visit of Bilawal Bhutto refreshes the memories of the visit of his grandfather and his mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

The visit demonstrates the importance Pakistan accords to its relations with China, General Secretary of the PPP Jehangir Badar told the Chinese Minister Chen Feng.           

The presence of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto demonstrates the depth of relationship between Pakistan and China and also narrates the words of founding party Chairman Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto that Sino-Pak friendship is higher than the mountains, deeper than the ocean and sweeter than the honey.

Jehangir Badar on the occasion told the minister Wang that as a Chairman of PPP, it is the first international appearance of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the invitation of Chinese government that also demonstrate the deep-rooted relations between the PPP and the Communist Party of China.

The Chinese side was informed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the youngest Chairman of PPP and would carry the legacy of his grandfather and party founding Chairman Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto and he is also determined to further elevate Sino-Pak friendship to a new height.

Jehangir Badar on the occasion said that a delegation of Pakistan People's Party may visit next month to China that would further bring the political parties of the two countries more closer.            

Speaking on the occasion the Adviser to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik said that it was Shaheed Zulfiqar Bhutto who laid a strong foundation of Pakistan, China Friendship.

"Today, China and Pakistan are the best friends, we share our boundaries, we shares our culture as well as values", Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik said, adding "we have common interests as well".

Malik pointed out that both the countries are also facing similar challenges and are closely cooperating with each other in the field of terrorism.

He emphasized that Pakistan would continue to support China at all international forums.

Malik said that Pakistan People's party and CPC maintain very good relations, they have strong roots among their people as they were working to mitigate the suffreings of their respective people.

"Both the political parties are striving to improve the socio-economic conditions of their people", Malik noted. 

Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir, Head of the Mission at Pakistan Embassy Abdul Salik Khan and senior officials of Pakistan embassy were also present on the occasion.
