Mobile Phone Directory

Could someone in the PTA elucidate as to why the mobile telecom companies are not maintaining the telephone directories of their subscribers on their respective websites as is being done by the PTCL?. Many a time I have felt an urgent need of contacting a friend, a doctor or someone else but could not do so in spite of knowing that he had the mobile phone of a particular mobile phone company. I think in this computer age, uploading the required data to do the needful will not be a problem. Needless to say, such a facility provided by the mobile companies will be of immense use to all.
