De-facto and de-jure powers in Pakistan

PPP headed by President Asif Ali Zardari is the governing political party in Pakistan and as such absolute total powers are vested in him which cannot be challenged whatsoever but it is an undeniable fact that Altaf Hussain, Chief, MQM sitting as far away as London enjoys more popularity in my beloved home country than Zardari since he pulls strings from there creating troubles in Pakistan which simply cannot be controlled as it has been very bluntly demonstrated earlier this week and none dared to penalize MQM for paralyzing life in Karachi, Hyderbad and Mirpur Khas which itself proves who de-facto and who is de-jure.
