Dear Participants of the long march;
please elaborate if your struggle is really for the "Rule of Law" or is it just a conflict between two institutions?
Frankly speaking I dont' see the past record of our respected Judiciary & the respected lawyers community of giving an average Pakistani any justice in the real sense. The level of corruption in these circles is well known to an average Pakistani, specially the ones who has faced a letigation in the past. Cases are prolonged for year, bribery and injustices are rampant.
Does the independance of Judiciary means more unrestricted amount of corruption or it means "Really Cheap, Quick & Correct Justice" to the common Pakistani. If it is the latter case than I am for it. The legal fraternity should really ponder over its past performance and seek sincere "Tawba" from ALLAH (SWT) and all the Pakistanis who have been denied justices in the past (I don't think that there is lawyer who has not read "justice delayed is justice denied" as a student of law).
In fact the whole nation needs to reflect on its own purpose/profession and its deeds.
May ALLAH (SWT) Guide us to seek sincere Tawba & Ease our matters; Ameen
Allah Hafiz Abdullah
