Mr. Rauf Amir! Don’t play with the sentiments of innocent Kashmiris. You are appreciating Kashmiris as they are sacrificing their lives for a good cause. But, the reality is that Kashmiris are not sacrificing their lives but are being killed due to the situation created by Pakistan. And therefore, Pakistan is responsible for the killing of ‘5 lakh people in Kashmir’ (as per your record). Do, you know who gave weapons to Kashmiri youths to fight in the name of so-called ‘azadi’ (freedom). You better know that. Can you tell us Mr. Amir, why Kashmiris failed in getting ‘azadi’ even after sacrificing ‘5 lakh lives’? Then why are you encouraging them to sacrifice more lives? Can you guarantee them their so-called ‘azadi’? Can you sacrifice your own life for the ‘noble cause’ of Kashmiris? Then why are you talking in such a tone? Our life is very precious as is written in our religious books. So, please give some value to human life. Kashmiris are not animals. Don’t misguide them. Write some good things which can help in saving the lives of innocent Kashmiris. We all know that it is a very complex issue. The issue has been complicated by our politicians and by those who have some interest in this issue. But, as a human we can talk of such things which could save the lives of other humans.
We know that it was Pakistan who sent its tribesmen to invade Kashmir. These tribesmen not only plundered the wealth of Kashmiri people but harassed many Muslim girls and women of the valley too. Some Pakistani soldiers were also come to Kashmir in the guise of tribesmen. This fact was revealed when UNO asked Pakistan to bring back its soldiers from Indian Kashmir. Pakistani Army is still involved in infiltrating militants into Jammu and Kashmir. Mr. Rauf Amir, when you blame India for carrying out atrocities on Kashmiris why you forget to mention these facts? Then, you have written in many of your articles that ‘India wants to become the super power of South Asia’. You should know the fact that the entire world is recognizing India as the fastest growing economy of the world after China. So, this is a reality. You don’t need to explain it.
You should appreciate India for allowing people like Arundhati Roy, to express their views. It is not Pakistan where people are kidnapped and then killed for expressing their views. Attack on the shrines of Sufi saints highlights the issue very well. Kashmir was and is an integral part of India, and the statement given by Arundhati Roy cannot change this fact.
